Cバンドエルビウムドープファイバ小信号増幅器（略してPAアンプ）は、-45dBm～-25dBmの範囲のCバンド微弱光信号専用の増幅器です。典型的な小信号利得は35～45にもなります。 dB であり、ノイズ指数が低いため、通常、弱い光信号を検出する能力を向上させるために光検出器の前に使用されます。
C-band erbium-doped fiber small-signal amplifier (PA amplifier for short) is an amplifier dedicated to C-band weak optical signals in the range of -45dBm ~ -25dBm. EDFAは2種類あります（現在の製品はプリアンプタイプです）。
プリアンプ増幅器：PAと呼ばれ、小光信号増幅の-35〜-25 dBmの範囲で使用されます、35デシベルの典型的な利得。
ブースタ増幅器： BAと呼ばれる,光信号は- 6 ~ +10 dBmの範囲内での電力を向上させるため、最大出力電力は27 dBmである。

Pre - Amplifier, referred to as PA, that is preamplifier, used in the -35 ~ -25 dBm range of small light signal amplification, typical gain of 35 dB;
Booster - Amplifier, referred to as BA, is used to enhance the power of the optical signal in the range of - 6 ~ +10 dBm, with a maximum output power of 27 dBm;

[仕様]

注意： このEDFA製品は、複数の波長が同時に入力された場合のゲインスペクトルの平坦性に関係なく、動作波長範囲内の単一波長信号入力用に設計されています。 このページに示すように、EDFA-C-PA-35小信号増幅器は、Cバンドの異なる波長の入力信号（図では複数の波長が同時にEDFAに入力されていない）に対して高利得増幅を実現できます。単一波長の入力電力は-35dBmであり、実効利得は35dBを超え、増幅された信号対バックグラウンドノイズ比は30dBを超えています。
